cancellation policies

  • No refunds or cancellations are allowed within 45 days prior to the reservation date.
  • Cancellations made between 60 and 45 days before the reservation date will incur a penalty of 60% of the total stay cost.
  • Cancellations made between 90 and 60 days before the reservation date will incur a penalty of 40% of the total stay cost.
  • Cancellations made more than 90 days in advance will incur a 10% penalty of the total reservation price.

 

The total stay includes the amount paid for all reserved nights, cleaning service, additional services and tourist taxes.

Refunds will be made within thirty days from the date of the client’s request to cancel their stay and will be made by the same means in which the payment was made.

All the periods mentioned are understood as “calendar days”.

No changes or replacements of stay dates will be made under any budget. If the client wishes to reserve new dates, they must quote the dates of interest and make the new payment for this, no compensation of expenses of some reservations for others is made.

Partial cancellations of reserved dates are not accepted.

In the event that the cancellation of the stay is carried out by Alma de Mar, 100% of the price paid by the client will be refunded within a period of 5 days from the date of written notification, exonerating the client in this act. Alma de Mar, from any additional payment.

In cases of cancellation of stays, Alma de Mar will send written communication to the client expressing the applicable policy and the proof of refund made in the appropriate case, Alma de Mar not being responsible for the time or delay taken by the bank or financial institution of the client in giving him the availability of the money, a situation that is the exclusive responsibility of the latter.
